Moses is a result oriented Monitoring, evaluation, accountability, research, learning and data analysis professional with experience in successfully building frameworks for assessments,Baseline/Endline surveys, evaluations, tool design, Mobile data collection and analysis. Creative and innovative individual, with excellent skills in community mobilization, stakeholder management, proposal writing, field research,capacity building as well as planning and implementing qualitative and quantitative based projects. Moses has worked in the fields of livelihoods, food security, WASH, Poverty and OVC.
I grew up in a Christian family, so I was surrounded by God and the church from the very beginning. I was raised in a Christian home, but just followed through the motions of doing “Christian things” that I thought you were supposed to do. I didn’t know Him, I just knew about Him.
I found myself searching for purpose and meaning in people and also in myself. Whether that was my friends or in relationships, I poured my whole heart into them. I also became very fixated on myself and my image. I became very consumed with what people thought of me and was living for the acceptance of the world.
I have been struggling with Alcoholic addiction for over 25 years. I started drinking at the age of 14 years while I was in standard 8 even though I managed to have a decent childhood and education. My addiction became rampant during my years in campus and it was with God’s grace that I managed to graduate.
Alcoholism has made me to lose a lot of opportunities in my life time as I used it to mask a lot of the internal pain I go through(Disappointments, family resentment, spouse resentments, friends deserting me,Loss of my dad, not getting a well-paying job if not a job at all. Etc). I went under depression sometime in 2016 and got deeper into Alcohol abuse. I since stopped taking Alcohol although it was a struggle. ONE DAY AT A TIME.
I believe my tomorrow will be Greater than Today.
